Training program:

Each program is tailored to the target direction of the trainees so as to familiarize them as thoroughly as possible with the specifics of the environment and the hazards that can occur in it. However, a large part of the topics will be universal in nature and will work all over the world.

  3. Observation and situational awareness.
  4. Risk analysis and assessment.
  5. OPSEC - cooperation with security.
  6. Response to threatening situations.
  7. Kidnappings - how to avoid and what to do after a kidnapping.
  8. Dealing with isolation from the group.
  9. Basic handling of weapons.
  10. Ballistics basics (e.g., bullet penetrability).
  11. How to find shelter?
  12. Recognition of military and improvised explosives - rules of conduct.
  13. Checkpoints - how to behave at them?
  14. Communication in emergency situations.
  15. Planning routes of travel, navigation.
  16. First aid.
  17. Psychological aspect in emergency situations.

 

Form of training:

Classes are conducted in both theoretical, classroom and practical forms, with lots of simulations, demonstrations and group and individual exercises.

What is HEAT? 

HEAT - Hostile Environment Awareness training- is a course designed to prepare people traveling on business or in private to places subject to armed conflict, high crime or natural hazards. It teaches how to deal with emergency situations, how to reduce risks while living and working in hostile environments by developing situational awareness and correct responses.
